Florent Degourc
After ten years spent in retail agencies and product design as well as a teaching spell at the Nantes Atlantic School of Design and exhibitions in Dubai and Milan, I came to realize that my future lay in the design of everyday-use products for the home. And so it was that in 2011 I took the plunge and began to work as an independent designer. I try to create products that people understand easily and which inspire emotional responses, whatever their nature. This process involves being very careful in my choice of materials, because they play a large role in the viability of a project, and that is why I decided to produce a maximum of prototypes myself or with the aid of qualified craftsmen.
